Reservations and Revenue Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations & Revenue Manager to join our team at Hyde. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for achieving department targets by accurately interpreting the accommodation needs of guests and organisations, selling the maximum number of room nights at the highest achievable rate, and cross-selling hotel departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret guest accommodation needs and sell room nights at the highest achievable rate.
- Cross-sell hotel departments to maximise revenue.
- Record all booking and inquiry details and correspondence.
- Take responsibility for maximising occupancy and revenue as a primary operational responsibility.
- Work closely with department teams to provide personalised service and meet guest preferences and requests.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management or Leadership.
- Significant background in Reservations Service of a luxury hotel.
- 5 or more years of experience in hospitality Reservations operations of a luxury hotel.
- Proficient in Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategies.
- Proficient in sound negotiation skills.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office software applications.
- Proficient user of OPERA.
- Ability to anticipate future circumstances and plan accordingly.
- Ability to accurately process accounting transactions.
- Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to getting work done.
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues in English.
- Strong leadership skills.
