Job Title: Reservations & Revenue Manager

At Hyde, we are seeking a highly skilled Reservations & Revenue Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will play a crucial role in achieving department targets by accurately interpreting the accommodation needs of guests and organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately interpret guest accommodation needs and sell the maximum number of room nights at the highest achievable rate.
  • Cross-sell hotel departments and ensure that guest requirements are captured in the booking, guest profile, and history.
  • Formulate and send accurate quotations when required.
  • Take responsibility for the complete recording of all booking and inquiry details and correspondence.
  • Maximise occupancy and revenue as your primary operational responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management / Leadership.
  • Significant background in Reservations Service of a luxury hotel.
  • 5 or more years of experience in the hospitality Reservations operations of a luxury hotel.
  • Proficient in the application of Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategies.
  • Proficient in the application of sound negotiation skills.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Proficient user of OPERA.
  • Ability to anticipate future circumstances, conditions, and requests and use these scenarios to plan for the future.
  • Ability to accurately process accounting transactions.
  • Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to getting work done, adjusting to changing circumstances and demands.
  • Ability to simultaneously pay attention to a number of demands.
  • Embraces, supports, and models organisational values and culture.
  • Ability to effectively communicate effectively with guests and colleagues in English.
  • Strong leadership skills.
