Job Description

Tradelink is seeking a skilled Senior Payroll Administrator to oversee the company's payroll processing and associated functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Administer all aspects of payroll, including calculating hours, deductions, new hires, terminations, and compliance with regulations.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely payroll records and reports.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee questions about payroll and benefits.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including tax and labor laws.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and adjust payroll systems and processes accordingly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
  • Proficiency in payroll processing software and familiarity with payroll taxes and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Sage 300 software.
  • Knowledge of labor and tax laws.
