About the Job

A Senior Partner: Bond Originator at MortgageMarket.co.za is responsible for generating new business and driving sales through building relationships with key stakeholders.

This involves identifying new opportunities, delivering home loan options, and achieving individual and team sales targets in a dynamic fintech environment.


Key Responsibilities
  1. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base, developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  2. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, property developers, and property practitioners to generate sales and drive business growth.
  3. Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their home loan needs and financial situation, providing various offers from top banks and assisting with application completion and documentation gathering.
  4. Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends and mortgage products to provide clients with the best options.
  5. Compliance: Ensure all loan applications comply with industry regulations.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferably but not mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage origination with a focus on new business development.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and banking industry regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Network: Established network of industry contacts and referral sources.
