Job Title: Senior Manager: Finance Transformation

KPMG South Africa is a leading professional services firm with a strong presence in the Western Cape Advisory market. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Finance Transformation team in the region.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading various stages of a client's finance transformation journey, from strategy development to implementation. This will involve working closely with clients to understand their needs and developing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of finance and accounting transformation engagements, including visioning, target operating model development, and future state validation.
  • Interpret client requirements and coordinate the development of proposals for finance transformation projects.
  • Support Partners and Associate Directors to grow the finance transformation business through thought leadership and marketing initiatives.
  • Actively manage the development and provision of skills transfer to junior employees.
  • Understand how technology enables the finance function of the future.
  • Display diligence during the execution of KPMG's internal risk management processes.
  • Lead discussions around the future of finance and actively participate in generating creative ideas and thoughts.

  • Strong organisation skills, self-starter with initiative, ability to foster innovation and a common-sense approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to multi-task and reprioritise tasks as and when required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent business writing skills, numerical skills, communication and interpretation skills.
  • Executes excellent first review skills.
  • Excellent ability to compile PowerPoint decks and present with confidence and passion.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to colleagues with differing levels of expertise and skills while championing inclusion and diversity.
  • Ability to manage high performing teams and provide coaching to enable junior staff members to grow in their role.
