Mukuru is seeking an exceptional Senior Reporting Manager to join its finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Group's consolidation and reporting efforts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reports.

This is a critical role that requires a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in technical accounting, reporting, and finance transformation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving change and improving financial processes, as well as experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Senior Reporting Manager will play a key role in scaling the accounting processes and procedures of a rapidly growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant who thrives on finance transformation and delivery of change projects, in addition to their core responsibility of providing best-in-class reporting through the group companies.

The role will involve:

  • Overseeing the Group's consolidation and reporting efforts, including preparation of financial statements and reports;
  • Leading finance transformation initiatives to improve financial processes and efficiency;
  • Collaborating with the FP&A and accounting teams to develop and implement best-in-class reporting practices;
  • Providing technical accounting guidance and support to divisional finance teams;
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements;

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A CA(SA) or equivalent qualification;
  • Proven experience in technical accounting, reporting, and finance transformation;
  • A minimum of 3+ years post-CA qualification experience;
  • Experience working in a multinational and multi-currency environment;
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities;
