Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Broker Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and recruiting a portfolio of brokers and Sanlam Affiliated Intermediaries, developing existing markets, and managing risk. Key responsibilities include:

  • Selecting and recruiting a portfolio of brokers and Sanlam Affiliated Intermediaries
  • Developing existing markets and identifying new business opportunities
  • Managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Providing training and support to brokers and Sanlam Affiliated Intermediaries
  • Setting targets and goals for brokers and Sanlam Affiliated Intermediaries
  • Analyzing management reports and providing insights for business growth
  • Building and maintaining strong business relationships with brokers and Sanlam Affiliated Intermediaries

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Matric certificate
  • An industry-recognized qualification
  • A Business, Commercial, or Marketing qualification will be an advantage
  • RE5 certification
  • CPD certification
  • A driver's license and own transport
  • 2 years of experience in relationship management, marketing, or sales
  • Preference will be given to candidates from the financial services industry
  • 120 FAIS credits
  • RE1 certification will be advantageous
