Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling Microsoft products, specifically Power BI and other software tools. This role requires someone with a proven track record in generating leads, managing senior accounts, drafting proposals, closing deals, and building a successful sales team. The Account Manager will be responsible for nurturing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and contributing to the overall success of our sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales & Business Development:
  • Sell Microsoft products, including Power BI and other software tools.
  • Generate new leads through various channels and follow up on potential opportunities.
  • Identify and engage with senior-level decision-makers in target accounts.
  • Draft and present compelling proposals to clients tailored to their specific needs and challenges.
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Account Management:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of senior accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on BI solutions and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions and services to clients.
  • Monitor and report on account performance, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Team Leadership:
  • Play a key role in building and leading a successful sales team.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales staff, sharing best practices and sales strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales environment.
Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in selling Microsoft products, including Power BI and other software tools.

Demonstrated ability to generate leads and manage senior accounts.

Experience in drafting proposals and closing deals with a strong success rate.

Previous experience in building and leading a successful sales team.

Strong understanding of business intelligence solutions, data warehousing, and the Microsoft Power Platform.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
