New Business Development Manager

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced New Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our B2B Direct Business sector, you will be responsible for developing new profitable business opportunities in line with the company's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth in the B2B Direct Business sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining, industrial, construction, and fleet sectors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business development decisions.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on business development progress and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of business development success.
  • Strong knowledge of the petrochemical and energy industry, with experience working with B2B lubricants supply.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, such as Syspro, and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
