About the Role:

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. This role will involve handling client inquiries, resolving issues, and providing quotes for shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide quotes for shipments, ensuring that all relevant information is gathered and accurate calculations are made.
  • Book shipments accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Collaborate with the Operations department to ensure that shipments are handled and delivered on time.
  • Support the Customer Service Strategy to ensure that the customer is receiving the best overall service.
  • Communicate with and support the Sales department as needed.

Requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
  • Background in the courier/freight industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize workload.
  • High attention to detail and ability to use own initiative.
  • Flexible attitude and ability to work shifts and last-minute coverage.
