The Technical Support Lead Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance of applications within our Operations Applications suite. As a seasoned professional, this individual will not only monitor and support day-to-day operations but also oversee and complement the existing support team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for applications within the designated scope
  • Ensure seamless integration with standard processes and procedures documentation
  • Utilize analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain high availability and meet or exceed client expectations by closely monitoring production application components
  • Liaise with development teams to facilitate incident resolution related to system alerts
  • Nurture relationships with key strategic partners and customers
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and application upgrades in a dynamic environment focused on problem-solving and process optimization
  • Demonstrate a general understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Exhibit high initiative, mature judgment, and discretion in decision-making
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Capable of conducting research into IT issues and products as required
  • Able to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Deliver accurate monthly reports to Management in a timely manner
  • Become proficient in the use, workflow, and capabilities of the system used for support

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification or experience in a related field
  • Familiarity with code reading and debugging is advantageous
  • Understanding of different message formats is beneficial
  • Customer support experience is essential
  • Excellent written and communication skills are mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations for creating business cases, budgets, etc.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Detail-oriented
  • Focused on solution-driven approaches with proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work under pressure, demonstrating effective prioritization and task execution skills in a high-pressure environment
  • Exceptional customer service focus is a must
  • Team player with extensive experience working in a collaborative environment
  • C#,.NET, MS SQL knowledge is advantageous

Salary Estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
