Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Business Studies and Tourism Educator to join our team at SPARK Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in Business Studies and Tourism, and will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our scholars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies and Tourism, using our innovative blended learning model.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, and to ensure that students are meeting their academic goals.
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress, and work with them to set and achieve academic targets.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, and to stay up-to-date with best practices in education.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, and to the well-being of students and colleagues.
Requirements
  • English language fluency.
  • Completed B.Ed or PGCE degree in Business Studies with sub-majors in Tourism Studies - FET Phase, with 3 years experience teaching Grades.
  • SACE registration.
  • Clear/Clean criminal record.

Location

SPARK Schools has multiple locations in Gauteng, including Riversands (Knoppieslaagte), Rivonia, and Midrand.
