Job Title: Academic Instructor - Political Studies

Varsity College, a leading educational brand of The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE), is seeking a highly qualified Academic Instructor to join our team in the field of Political Studies.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Academic Instructor to deliver effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities that promote student success and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality lectures and facilitate academic activities in Political Studies
  • Mark and assess student work
  • Provide student support and guidance
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Political Studies or a related field
  • Industry experience in Political Studies
  • Lecturing experience
Working Conditions:
  • This is an Independent Contractor role
  • Preference will be given to previously underrepresented groups in accordance with the South African Employment Equity Act
