Business Development Specialist

African Ambition is seeking a Business Development Specialist to play a crucial role in giving businesses and individuals peace of mind, through comprehensive insurance solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in commercial insurance advisory services and be able to conduct thorough needs analysis and advise clients on suitable insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement customized insurance solutions strategies to meet clients'' commercial and personal insurance needs.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, reviewing their portfolio regularly and adjusting as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulations, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills to better serve clients.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve collective goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- RE 5 non-negotiable OR No RE at least must have 5 years B2B and extensive sales experience)
- Even if they are not from the insurance industry our client, accept candidates with extensive, hard-core sales experience.
- 3 years'' experience selling Commercial and /or personal lines
- 3 years remaining to get full FAIS qualification if not already completed
- Face to face sales, ability to build and maintain rapport with various types of clients
- Sales focus 70% commercial and 30% personal lines
- Selling to SMME''s
- Ability to prospect and work independently
- Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
Salary and Benefits:
- A basic R120 000 PA Negotiable (Our client has 3 tiers offering which will be based on the candidates experience and current salary)
- Plus Commission
- They are offering a petrol card capped at R3000
