Sales Business Development Role

The primary objective of this position is to establish and maintain a strong customer base, ensuring consistent sales growth and revenue generation. This involves implementing effective sales strategies, developing strong relationships with wholesale retail customers, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly sales growth, profit margin, and sales targets.
  • Recruit new customers through the use of sales methodologies and effective communication strategies.
  • Identify and analyze competitors, conduct market research, and participate in community events to build relationships and expand the customer base.
  • Load quotations, invoices, and delivery notes onto the system in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate data integrity across all systems and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Sales Representative.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Residency in Pinetown or surrounding areas.
  • South African citizenship.
  • Valid SA driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
