About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in East London. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING CLIENTS AND IDENTIFY NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
  • Provide market insights and industry expertise to support sales efforts
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
Requirements
  • Matric + tertiary education in marketing & sales management would be an advantage
  • Extensive Sales experience (at least 5 years) in Food Services, Cleaning and Packaging
  • Experience in new business development
  • Knowledge and understanding of the hospitality and packaging industry
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
  • Valid SA Driver's license and own reliable transport
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Eastern Cape province
