Job Description

**About the Role**

HR Genie is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales and Business Development to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that drive business growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Intelligence: Conduct thorough market analysis and intelligence to inform our business development strategy and identify new opportunities for growth.

  • Customer Management: Develop and implement customer management strategies to build strong relationships with key clients and drive sales growth.

  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies that align with our business objectives and drive revenue growth.

  • Product Commercialization: Support the definition of frameworks, strategies, and plans for product commercialization, revenue forecasting, and margin protection.

  • Sales Operations: Implement and manage sales operations, including sales lead management, opportunity management, and sales forecasting.

  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sale with clients to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

  • Customer Due Diligence: Manage customer contracts by ensuring and overseeing the necessary customer due diligence for trade customers, the development of legally sound customer contract and service terms, and the development of comprehensive customer contract implementation plans and processes.

  • Data Protection and Compliance: Identify sensitive customer data and establish data protection rules on how sensitive customer data must be handled throughout the customer data touch points in accordance with our guidelines and laws of the land.

  • Sales Partnerships and Alliances: Identify and pursue strategic sales partnerships and alliances to enable sustainable growth on the long term.

  • Sales Performance Analysis: Support business sustainability by critically analyzing sales performance against sales forecasts for future sales strategies and plans.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Management and improvement of customer's relationship with the intent of retaining customers and/or increasing their sales volumes of our products/services.

  • Sales Forecasting and Planning: Develop sales forecasts and plans to allocate resources, optimize inventory management, and drive revenue growth, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demand.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a strong background in sales strategy, planning, and execution.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of sales operations, customer management, and business development.
