The Head Baker will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery operations, including leading and managing the bakery team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and ensuring that all baking processes adhere to recipes and quality specifications.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of experience in a bakery or similar food production environment, with a strong focus on leadership and management skills. You will also need to have excellent baking and pastry making skills, including the ability to develop and innovate new recipes.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is passionate about baking and has a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the bakery operations, including leading and managing the bakery team.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the bakery.
  • Ensure that all baking processes adhere to recipes and quality specifications.
  • Develop and innovate new recipes to enhance the guest experience.
  • Lead and manage the bakery team to achieve exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • 5 years proven experience in a bakery or similar food production environment.
  • Pastry qualification (advantageous).
  • Excellent baking and pastry making skills, including the ability to develop and innovate new recipes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience supervising and training staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP.
  • Must have own transport and valid drivers license - non-negotiable.
