Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of all pastry items.
  • Ensure all pastry items are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Follow recipes and maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of pastry ingredients and supplies.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior pastry team members.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new pastry items.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve pastry offerings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef De Partie Pastry or similar role.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexible and able to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for pastry.
