- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety at all times.
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs to ensure consistency and quality in all pastry preparations.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve and innovate our pastry offerings.
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie Pastry or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of pastry and baking techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and passion for creating unique and delicious pastries.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Valid food handling and sanitation certification.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus.
