Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our Executive Pastry Chef to plan and execute menus that showcase our creativity and expertise in pastry and baking.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
  • Train and supervise junior pastry chefs to ensure consistency and quality in all pastry preparations.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve and innovate our pastry offerings.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie Pastry or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of pastry and baking techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and passion for creating unique and delicious pastries.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Valid food handling and sanitation certification.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus.
