  • Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, and bread for our guests, adhering to company standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and other members of the culinary team, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as the dining room and galley, to ensure smooth and efficient service, meeting the needs of our guests.
  • Actively participate in menu planning and development, providing input on new recipe ideas and menu concepts.
  • Assist with ordering and receiving of pastry supplies and ingredients, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing stockouts.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to ensure a secure and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef De Partie Pastry in a high-volume, fine dining establishment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience in pastry and baking.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment, with a focus on innovation and creativity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages a plus.
