Job Title: Strategic Key Account Manager

Cepheid is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Key Account Manager to join our team in South Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the public sector market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets in the public sector market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including NHLS leadership, NGO funders, and Department of Health officials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product acceptance and adoption in the market.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Provide regular sales performance updates and insights to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in sales or a related field, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Proven track record of sales success in the diagnostics or device industries.
  • Strong understanding of the public sector market and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
