Strategic Key Account Manager

About the Role
Cepheid is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Key Account Manager to join our team in South Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expansion in the public sector market, including NHLS and other key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share in the public sector market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including NHLS leadership, NGO funders, and Department of Health officials.
- Participate in key meetings and tenders to position Cepheid products for utilization across targeted disease categories.
- Develop and implement marketing messaging and activities to support sales efforts.
- Collaborate with global access teams to position Cepheid as a key partner in public health and influence key policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in sales key account management, preferably in the diagnostics or device industries.
- Medical background an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
