Business Development Manager

HR Genie is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic partnerships and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • People: Build and maintain strong relationships with wealth advisors to drive practice growth and implement plans for success.
  • Source and Build Pipeline: Identify and develop a pipeline of advisors and books to buy, ensuring a steady flow of new business opportunities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Share information with team members regarding successes, issues, trends, and ideas to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Product Development: Work with key decision makers to ensure operational efficiency and develop strong relationships with key distribution partners and target market.
  • Reporting and Feedback: Coordinate timely and accurate reporting and feedback to ensure seamless communication and decision-making.
  • Recruitment: Recruit Value Add Financial Advisors who meet the designated criteria, ensuring a strong and diverse team.
Legal and Administrative:
  • Legal Agreements: Assist in arranging legal agreements between business partners and integrating contract requirements with internal business operations.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct high-level due diligence on Product Providers Processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on sales, operations, and profitability to inform business decisions.
  • Feedback and Communication: Provide feedback and address sales and product issues, explaining product details and concepts as needed.
Technology and Growth:
  • System Implementation: Apply systems and processes to obtain, coordinate, and apply product-specific information through CRM and CIS.
  • Growth Strategy: Drive Growth Strategy as set out in VCP, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Marketing and Sales:
  • Marketing Materials: Facilitate the development of marketing and communication materials, ensuring correct application and monitoring.
  • Sales Growth: Ensure revenue, AUA, and GWP growth through advisor business and other advisor-related initiatives.
