Customer Relationship Manager

Job Overview
FirstRand Bank Limited is a leading financial institution that seeks to recruit a highly skilled Customer Relationship Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating win-win situations with customers through resolving customer queries and/or complaints in order to retain the relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Awareness: Demonstrate cost consciousness and awareness of personal contribution to costs and productivity, and identify and escalate potential risks that may lead to increased costs.
- Process Improvement: Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.
- Relationship Building: Establish relationships with relevant individuals and departments to deliver on work expectations.
- Service Delivery: Adhere to relevant service level agreements to build trust in the relationship, investigate new ways to optimise processes, and flag opportunities to migrate to platform and support the use of technology in process and system improvements.
- Solution Development: Draw on knowledge and experience to identify and develop solutions that lead to improved service delivery and quality.
- Work Execution: Execute own work in accordance with the organisational values and code of ethics, comply with and adhere to identified governance and compliance standards, and escalate problems for investigation and resolution.
- Quality and Efficiency: Produce high quality work by adhering to predefined standards and procedures and in accordance with compliance and governance standards, work with enhanced processes and procedures to maintain operational efficiencies, and deliver work in an accurate manner to ensure consistent results.
- Performance and Development: Draw on knowledge and experience to identify and develop solutions that lead to improved service delivery and quality, adhere to quality standards, turnaround times, and Company policies and procedures, complete relevant administration, reporting, and updating of information accurately and on time, provide timeous reports on operations, performance, and audit findings, report on transactional activity progression within set guidelines, and seek out regular performance feedback and put actions in place to improve and enhance performance.
Job Requirements:
- Education and Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Skills and Experience: 2-3 years' experience in a customer-facing role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary ranging from R350,000 to R450,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical aid, life insurance, and a generous leave allowance.
