Job Title: Client Relationship Manager

As a Client Relationship Manager at The Recruitment Council, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and oversight in fund administration services. This dynamic role requires a passion for client service and delivery, as well as a strong understanding of retail client relationship management and fund administration processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and offshore advisors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Client Support: Provide efficient and effective support to clients, responding to queries and assisting the client service team with investigations and resolutions.
  • Service Monitoring: Oversee the delivery of outsourced services, ensuring that service levels and SLAs are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Complaint Handling: Act as the main point of contact for escalated issues and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate the client onboarding experience, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Investment Process Management: Monitor and validate the complete process of investments and disinvestments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Reporting Responsibilities: Prepare and distribute customized reports, working closely with data analysts and developers to enhance reporting quality.
  • Internal Collaboration: Foster good internal relationships across departments, ensuring quality support and service delivery.
  • System Management: Support the maintenance of client information in relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and currency.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to reduce risks and increase operational efficiencies.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years in a related client relationship management or reporting role within Asset Management or financial services.
  • Experience in Financial Services sectors, such as LISP, Collective Investment Schemes, and ETFs, is an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the Financial Services industry, specifically in Asset Management.
  • Familiarity with investment administration systems and regulatory legislation is essential.
Required Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., BCom in Accounting, Finance, or Investments).
  • Proficient in Excel.
