Required Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field, or a postgraduate degree in Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the SME funding environment, venture capital, or development finance.
- Sound technical knowledge of the SME environment, including SA Corporate law and BBB-EE Codes of Good Practice.
- Proven ability to generate deal flow, develop business networks, and drive business growth.
- Strong credit and risk analysis skills, as well as experience in managing people and professional teams.
