At Virgin Active South Africa Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Retention Success Coach. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth through effective retention strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cancelled memberships via telephone or written correspondence, utilizing our in-house NLP sales methodology to retain clients and ensure they remain part of the Virgin Active family. Key responsibilities include dealing with member queries and complaints on all levels, working cross-functionally with other department leaders to achieve business objectives, and maintaining a deep understanding of our company culture and values.

To excel in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years' experience as a sales or retention representative, with a proven track record of successfully meeting sales budgets, preferably over the phone. Outstanding negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask seamlessly between multiple systems are essential. A growth mindset, adaptability, and a willingness to go above and beyond to achieve success are also highly valued.
