Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Communication: Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
  • Reservations and Queries: Assist guests with queries, reservations, and requests over the phone, providing accurate and timely support.
  • Department Coordination: Coordinate with various hotel departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Emergency Response: Handle emergency calls and communicate effectively with relevant personnel, ensuring a swift and effective response.
  • Information Provision: Provide information about our hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to guests, enhancing their stay with us.
  • Message Handling: Log and relay messages accurately to guests and hotel staff, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Room Availability: Maintain knowledge of room availability and booking statuses, ensuring seamless communication with guests and hotel staff.
  • Etiquette and Professionalism: Ensure all phone communications follow our hotel's standards for etiquette and professionalism, reflecting positively on our brand.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and listening skills, with the ability to effectively engage with guests and hotel staff.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or switchboard role is preferred but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure success.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to handle multiple phone lines and prioritize tasks in a busy environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Attitude and Behavior: Polite, patient, and service-oriented with a positive attitude, reflecting our hotel's values and commitment to excellence.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely communication with guests and hotel staff.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable working with basic computer systems and switchboard software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Ability to remain calm and efficient in emergency situations, providing a reassuring presence for our guests and hotel staff.
