About Network Engineering
We are a leading engineering firm seeking an experienced business expansion specialist to drive our growth initiatives.
Main ResponsibilitiesNational Business Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive national business development strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
International Business Expansion:
- Research and identify potential international markets for our services.
- Build and nurture relationships with international clients and partners.
- Lead the expansion of our footprint in global markets.
Customer Engagement for RFQs:
- Meet regularly with customers to understand their needs and secure RFQs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit competitive proposals.
Digital Marketing Oversight:
- Manage our digital marketing channels to ensure alignment with our brand and objectives.
- Engage with our audience and respond to inquiries to drive engagement.
Sales Assistance:
- Support our sales team to close top tenders and achieve KPIs.
- Assist in negotiations and contract finalization to secure business opportunities.
Market Analysis and Planning:
- Conduct thorough market analysis to inform our business development strategies.
- Align our initiatives with company goals through cross-functional collaboration.
Proposal and Presentation:
- Craft compelling proposals and presentations to showcase our capabilities.
- Drive negotiations and close deals to secure new business opportunities.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Regularly report on business development activities and analyze key performance indicators.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development in the engineering sector.
- Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of the South African business landscape and international markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with a track record of exceeding targets.
