About the Role:
  • We require a seasoned sales leader with extensive experience in logistics, supply chain, and transport industries to leverage their expertise in driving revenue growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your advanced strategic planning and implementation capabilities to design and execute end-to-end solutions tailored to market demands.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align strategies, drive customer attraction, retention, and expansion, ensuring alignment with commercial strategies.
  • Analyze and report business performance metrics, providing actionable insights to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Foster key client relationships, identify growth opportunities in new and existing markets, and stay ahead of industry trends to refine strategies and deliver innovative client solutions.
  • Lead and manage sales teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence, ensuring compliance and profitability in tender and contract management processes.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of logistics, supply chain, and transport industries with a proven track record in selling integrated end-to-end solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, including advanced client relationship management and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong business acumen, focusing on revenue growth and profitability, with a minimum 8-10 years of experience in business development and sales within logistics or supply chain sectors.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale commercial projects and leading diverse teams, with a strong network in the Southern Africa region.
  • A relevant post-graduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is essential.
