Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Growth Executive to drive our commercial strategy, manage key accounts, and lead business development initiatives in the South African market.

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of success in the FMCG sector, expertise in value-based selling, RFP management, and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing tailored, value-based solutions that meet client needs and drive profitability. They will collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Growth teams to align offerings with market demands and monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategies.

This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills, as well as a strong understanding of market trends, industry dynamics, and competitor analysis. The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market conditions in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term commercial strategies to drive sustainable growth.
  • Manage the Growth team's sales pipeline and ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
  • Oversee budgets and resource allocation to support effective cost management.
  • Provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting in collaboration with senior leadership.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior commercial leadership role within the FMCG sector.
  • Expertise in business development, value-based selling, and client relationship management.
  • Proven ability to manage targets, budgets, and financial forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, industry dynamics, and competitor analysis.
  • Extensive experience in RFP management and contract negotiations.
