Strategic Client Partnerships Manager

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Client Partnerships Manager to join our team at Assign Services (Pty) Ltd.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a challenging role, overseeing key client relationships and driving business growth. As a Strategic Client Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating contracts.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain current business and develop strategies to obtain new core business, maximizing market share.
- Negotiate prices to achieve agreed pricing targets and ensure customer documentation is timeously completed and returned.
- Liaise between customers, licensors, and various other divisions as directed, reacting upon the results of customer surveys.
- Monitor and report on market trends and activities, negotiating respective contracts pertaining to OE related business.
- Identify and disclose potential new market opportunities and ensure all company safety, health, environmental, and quality procedures are understood and applied within the marketing department.
- Liaise between customers, suppliers, and various other company divisions, undertaking marketing functions such as customer liaison, margin monitoring and recovery, price negotiations, new business acquisition.
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients, ensuring they do not turn to competition, and expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position in the FMCG sector.
