Paid Media Manager Job Description

The Paid Media Manager will be responsible for allocating our clients' digital budgets wisely within the paid social environment. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing and the ability to manage internal and external client expectations.

The successful candidate will be allocated to a specific market and manage a portfolio of clients or one large client and campaigns. Key responsibilities include campaign implementation, optimisation, analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with Consultants on strategic digital strategies
  • Closely interacts with Account Management teams
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Must have a passion for digital marketing and a desire to build a career within the digital space
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in running campaigns across social platforms
  • Experience in managing digital campaigns with performance-driven goals
  • Experience with managing digital campaigns for video and mobile
  • Must know how to work with budgets and allocate them effectively
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues within social platforms and present solutions
  • Must have the ability to understand and interpret the strategy and execute it within the applicable platforms
  • Ability to analyze campaigns and implement strategy based on findings
  • Ability to conduct post-campaign analysis and present the results to Commercial teams or clients
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to work closely with senior team members and consultants to take direction with campaigns
  • Very diligent - staying on top of the details
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Tasks:
  • Employ strategic campaign set-up with sufficient research and following direction given by Consultant
  • Analyse campaign performance and make recommendations for optimisation
  • Regular review of performance of campaigns across revenue, performance and pacing
  • Ensure campaign delivery against revenue goals and Key Performance Indicators as established with the client and Consultants
  • Daily monitoring of campaigns to ensure performance goals and revenue objectives are met
  • Ensure all correct revenues and media costs are reported on a monthly basis
  • Ensure all administration is accurate and up-to-date
  • Ability to motivate oneself and continue self-development
Collaboration with Client Manager (Commercial team):
  • Close daily collaboration with consultants and client manager to understand client's goals and needs, communicating campaign metrics and performance as needed
  • Campaign performance analysis and presentation to client manager and/or consultant for all campaigns
  • First-level troubleshooting and triage on technical and performance-related issues
