Your Role at NTT DATA
The Senior Sales Executive is a pivotal management position, typically found in regions with larger sales teams, where responsibilities are divided between Senior and Manager roles.In such settings, the Senior Sales Executive serves as the highest-ranking sales professional, usually reporting to the branch manager. This role receives strategic direction from the Senior Director of Sales and may report to the Director of Sales in extensive operations.
The primary focus of the Senior Sales Executive is to oversee Sales Managers and/or a team of Client Managers and Sales Specialists. The main goal is to meet sales objectives and effectively implement business strategies within the sales teams by optimizing territory and target allocations while providing strategic guidance to senior Client Managers. This is achieved through team motivation and ensuring exceptional sales performance.
The Senior Sales Executive's responsibilities encompass management, sales, coaching, and leadership, all aimed at empowering the sales team to achieve their designated targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborates with regional Sales Leadership and decision-makers to develop a sales strategy aligned with global and regional organizational goals. Establishes the market approach for the sales force and determines achievable targets. Ensures adherence to sales procedures and policies as defined by sales leadership. Aligns operational plans with sales and organizational strategies, identifying areas for continuous improvement. Manages team operations, creating and executing plans while reporting on team activities. Participates in account planning and assists Client Managers in qualifying opportunities for significant deals. Works with vendors and partners to develop go-to-market strategies. Acts as a mentor and advisor, guiding the sales force in prioritizing activities. Responsible for the accuracy and updates of sales tools, systems, and reports. Monitors sales performance, analyzes metrics, and adjusts plans as necessary. Keeps abreast of industry trends, competitor actions, and emerging technologies to refine sales strategies.Knowledge and Attributes:
Strong sales acumen with a focus on organizational and business outcomes. Proficient in client engagement and management throughout the client lifecycle. Knowledgeable in sales solutions, applying company offerings to client needs. Skilled in optimizing sales resources and building internal relationships.
