Job Overview

The Operations and Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and overseeing the planning and execution of marketing and company events.

Key Responsibilities: Office Management
  • Facilities and Inventory Management: Ensure smooth office operations, manage facility maintenance, optimize office space, oversee office supply levels, equipment maintenance, and timely replenishment of resources.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Manage relationships, negotiate contracts, and track performance of vendors for office supplies and events.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze, document, and improve workflows across departments to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities: Events
  • Event Planning and Execution: Organize and execute marketing and company events, ensuring smooth logistics (guest lists, venues, catering, etc.).
  • Vendor and Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, manage event logistics, and oversee event marketing efforts.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in operations, event coordination, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and vendors.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary and Location

This role is based in Somerset West. The estimated salary range for this position is R22,000 - R25,000 per year.
