Abantu Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient workflows within our operational scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop 4-Step designs for each workflow to optimize process efficiency.
  • Create Process Solution Blueprints (PSB) for each solution to ensure clarity and understanding.
  • Design Process Design Documents (PDD) for each process to outline key steps and responsibilities.
  • Develop System Functional Specifications as required to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Establish Standard Work Instructions (SWI) for each process to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Implement design through project management, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Provide necessary training to support solution implementation and ensure effective adoption.
  • Establish processes and structures to monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions against Service Level Agreements (SLA) with customers.
  • Rectify any deviations from SLA due to design-related issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Support operational departments in rectifying deviations from SLA due to operations-related issues.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve solution effectiveness and efficiency, implementing changes as needed.
  • Execute operational responsibilities as required by customers, including engineering changes and special projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint is a must.
  • Advanced experience in Access, Excel, Visio, and MS Project is an advantage.
Experience
  • Up to 3 years of practical experience in industrial engineering, logistics, or similar disciplines.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.

  • Professional knowledge of theory and techniques in a specialized field or knowledge of multiple fields acquired through tertiary education and/or experience.
  • Excellent reading comprehension and active listening skills.
  • Good communication and complex problem-solving abilities.
