About the Role

Abantu Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient processes to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Design: Develop and implement 4-Step design for each workflow within our operational scope.
  • Process Solution Blueprint (PSB): Create a comprehensive blueprint for each solution, outlining key components and stakeholders.
  • Process Design Document (PDD): Develop a detailed document outlining the design and implementation of each process.
  • System Functional Specifications: Define the functional requirements for each system, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
  • Standard Work Instructions (SWI): Create standardized instructions for each process, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Implementation and Project Management: Oversee the implementation of designed processes, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Training and Support: Provide necessary training to stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition to new processes.
  • Process Monitoring and Improvement: Establish processes to monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Deviation Rectification: Develop and implement processes to rectify deviations from Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to departments, ensuring seamless execution of processes and resolution of issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing changes to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Operational Responsibilities: Execute operational responsibilities as required by customers, including engineering changes and special projects.
Requirements
  • Education: B.Eng / B.Sc in Industrial-, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MSExcel, MSWord, and MSPowerpoint, with advanced experience in Access, Excel, Visio, and MSProject.
Experience
  • Practical Experience: Up to 3 years of practical experience in industrial engineering or logistics or similar disciplines.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the automotive industry will be an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Professional Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of theory and techniques in a specialized field, or knowledge of multiple fields acquired through tertiary education and/or considerable experience.
