  • Generate project status reports by analyzing and summarizing relevant information and trends.
  • Prepare reports as required by funding agencies.
  • Compile monthly project cost reports.
  • Administer contracts efficiently in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Review contractor payment applications and prepare variation orders as necessary.
  • Ensure timely submission of contractor payment certificates to clients.
  • Facilitate monthly site progress and technical meetings.
  • Project Management:
  • Coordinate with clients and various professionals, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and inspect contractor work, including hazard identification and risk assessment.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Ensure projects are executed smoothly, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Adhere to legal requirements, particularly concerning health and safety.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing established procedures and regulations.
  • Oversee CAD personnel to convert designs into professional engineering drawings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in both physical and virtual environments.
  • Capable of performing efficiently under pressure.

Educational Background:

  • BSc Eng, BEng, or BTech in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered with ECSA as PrEng or Pr. Technologist.
  • A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in civil engineering projects, particularly in bulk water supply and sewerage disposal, is advantageous.
  • Strong client liaison skills, with a focus on understanding client needs and initiating engineering solutions.
