About the Job

We are seeking a Sales Business Development Manager to join our team based in Cape Town. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of potential clients who want to activate their own last mile delivery service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Convert pipeline leads to active clients and assist clients to improve delivery volumes.
  2. Closely manage new clients to ensure they achieve required targets and deploy customer success strategies to assist them.
  3. Visit clients regularly and serve as relationship/account manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. At least 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of lead conversion to closed deals - Essential.
  2. Negotiation skills - Essential.
  3. Ability to work autonomously and report back to management - Essential.
  4. Own transportation and willingness to visit regional clients daily - Essential.
  5. Self-starter with a can-do attitude - Essential.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in the restaurant/fast foods vertical in a similar role.
  • Experience with last mile delivery services.
