Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising fleet and rental sales performance, assisting the department manager in improving operational and administrative processes, and implementing sales policies and procedures.

Sales Operations and Relationship Management
  • Provide high-level service support to fleet and rental customers, as well as the dealer network, to ensure customer satisfaction and optimise sales results.
  • Support the dealer network in terms of fleet sales and operations, ensuring that these are carried out according to recommendations.

Fleet and Rental Sales Results and Profitability: Implement, communicate, and monitor fleet and rental sales results and profitability, forecasts, marketing activities, execution of incentives, maintenance of corporate identity, and monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Sales Planning

  • Provide feedback on customer order pipeline/forecasting requirements.
  • Assist with stock order forecasting management and effective application of available stocks.
  • Evaluate and determine requirements in terms of customer experience.

Market Intelligence / Reporting / Feedback

  • Collate and report on competitor / retail activities in areas of responsibility.
  • Provide continuous feedback regarding Customer requirements and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant position as Fleet and Rental Sales Controller within the Motor Industry.
  • In-depth understanding of Fleet and Rental sales, as well as the Motor Industry, with the ability to aid growth and improvement of sales, Customer satisfaction, and Dealer operations.
  • Extensive local travel required with some nights away from home.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work outside of usual office hours.

Estimated salary: R250,000 - R350,000 per annum.
