Job Title: Demi Chef De Partie Baker

Crew Life at Sea is seeking a skilled Demi Chef De Partie Baker to join our culinary team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Baker in the daily production of high-quality baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Baker in the preparation and baking of a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on baking techniques and standards.
  • Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to create new and innovative menu items.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef De Partie Baker or in a similar role.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and methods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
