Job Description: As a Retail Business Growth Specialist, you will play a vital role in expanding our client's presence in the retail investment market within the Pretoria region. This involves promoting investment products, building strategic relationships, and driving market growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Promote and distribute our client's investment products to the retail market in the Pretoria region.
  • Brand Expansion: Lead efforts to increase brand recognition and presence in the region.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including financial advisors, asset managers, and platform providers.
  • Client Service: Provide outstanding service to clients, potential investors, and stakeholders.
  • Promotional Initiatives: Take initiative in promoting our client's offerings to the broader retail market.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams within the organization to enhance our client's brand and market positioning.
  • Partnership Development: Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships with other fund managers and financial institutions.

Required Experience:

  • Proven Track Record: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong network within the Pretoria region.
  • Industry Expertise: Solid understanding of the investment industry, including products, structures, and market dynamics.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and communicate complex investment management strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, writing, and influencing abilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Completed degree in Commercial, Investment, Financial, or related field. Postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
  • Certifications: Preference for candidates with certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and/or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
