Triton Express: Business Development Consultant

Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Consultant to join our team. As a Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, qualifying potential clients, and developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting for new business by identifying opportunities, conducting area and business reviews, making telephone contact, and cold calling
- Qualifying potential clients based on requirements, submitting proposals to the Sales Manager, and gathering market intelligence
- Determining customer needs, demonstrating our services to meet their requirements, and adding value to their business
- Negotiating prices and credit terms, working on improving marketing strategies, and achieving sales targets
Requirements:
- Grade 12 minimum (Matric)
- 3-4 years of sales experience
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software applications
- Understanding of Freightware or similar management systems
- Selling process and techniques, basic principles of marketing, and advanced selling skills
- New business development, account management, commercial arithmetic calculations, and writing progress reports/proposals
Estimated Salary: R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
