Job Title: Document Controller

Flink Recruitment is seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and updating documents for a business using document management software. Your tasks will include uploading or scanning paper documents, obtaining documents, and ensuring proper and secure storage.

Qualifications
  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • Techincal qualification in mechanical, electrical or IT field
  • Diploma or degree in IT or related field
  • Certificate in ISO 9001:2015
Experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in document control
  • Experience in mining, construction, or manufacturing industry
  • Administrative experience and background in technical writing, English, or communication
Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent administration skills

  • Microsoft office suite skills
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Notify employees of new or changed documents
  • Upload external origin documents onto the document software system
  • Keep requirements register up to date
  • Process and record technical documentation according to agreed procedures
  • Input progress mark-up information into the database
  • Generate and maintain documentation to ISO, health and safety, quality management, risk and environmental control
  • Conduct site visits, identify SWOT and risk analysis
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Arrange and host training sessions
  • Obtain quotations and arrange inspections for compliance, health and safety
  • Manage customer complaints
  • Liaise with Human Resources for policy alignment
  • Implement policies, procedures and memos
  • Assist with administrative tasks
