Operations Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
As a dedicated team member at Fortis Recruiting Solutions, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Receptionist. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the procurement team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services.
- Support the procurement team with administrative tasks, including requesting and processing quotes from suppliers, tracking purchase orders and deliveries, managing supplier databases and documentation, and assisting with invoice processing.
- Maintain office supplies and ensure the reception area is organized.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings.
- Handle general office administration as required.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (written and spoken).
- Previous experience in reception, administration, or procurement preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of procurement processes is an advantage.
