Role Overview:

The Administrative Assistant will support the Personal Underwriters by managing various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the underwriting team, and providing essential support to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Personal Underwriters, facilitating effective communication and workflow.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain underwriting documents, policy records, and relevant files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Enter and update client information, policy details, and underwriting data into relevant systems with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Assist with client inquiries, process requests, and follow up on outstanding documentation to maintain a high level of customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Relevant underwriting or insurance certifications (e.g., NQF Level 4, RE5) are advantageous.
