Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals in the Diabetes field
  • Execute sales strategies effectively, efficiently, and ethically to achieve sales targets and growth in the allocated territory
  • Participate as a member of a high-performing team to drive business results
  • Develop consultative relationships with clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other pharmaceutical and related stakeholders
Requirements
  • University Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Medicine/Pharmacy/Biology or related Science or Paramedical qualification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good command of English and Xhosa
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Sales Representative in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Valid driving license
  • Ability to demonstrate an ability and passion to influence from a patient-centered approach and have strong attention to quality and details
  • Good planning and organizational skills and the agility and willingness to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment
  • Ability to engage people with different backgrounds (Science, business, etc.) and work within a diverse environment
  • Good decision-making, problem-solving skills, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate
