**Job Summary**

Taj Cape Town is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team and drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives focused on MICE and Production segments.

**Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenues from MICE and Production sources.
  • Source new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Promote hotel services and activities to increase sales and customer retention.
  • Responsible for maximizing total hotel revenues (rooms, banquets, and outlets).
  • Handle various segment accounts for the hotel and optimize revenue generation through regular sales calls and meetings.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the Production Houses, Groups Conferences, and Incentives industry.
  • Stay informed about hospitality trends, changing customer needs, and developments in other industries.
  • Host clients for regular FAM Trips, Hotel Site Inspections, and entertainment to ensure maximum visibility in the market.
  • Maintain accurate sales reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the travel, tourism, or hotel industry.
  • Proven track record within the Production & MICE Segmentation.
  • Solid Relationships within these segments.
  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and vehicle for day-to-day travel and appointments.
